Autonomous Technology in Cars Presentation

CSE 2501 at The Ohio State University.

For my computer science ethics course at Ohio State, I did a half-semester long project on autonomous technology in cars. This type of technology has always interested me since I started working with robotics in high school so it was really awesome to dive deeper into the ethical dilemmas that might be coupled with this tech. An autonomous car, by definition, would be able to navigate independently, and therefore require no driver. For my project, I decided to focus on the cultural benefits and potential negative economic impacts of such technology. The picture on the left is a snippet from my presentation capturing the ethics method, while I also did research on Waymo's autonomous van, who are the leaders in this industry.
